Frankfurt defines truth as right or wrong. Telling a lie or withholding the truth is wrong in all cases. The facts should always be apparent in any story no matter the person or the situation. Whereas Miller defines truth based on the individual and the story. She feels that if a lie can benefit what the writer is writing than it is a necessary step to take. As long as the writer can convey themselves and the reader gets a fresh idea than it is ok.
